S Video Cables with their applications 

S VIDEO cables are short form for separate video cables. They are used to carry video by making use of analog signals. They are said to be separate because they carry data with the help of two separate signals. One signal is known as luminance and other as chroma.  
S VIDEO cable like composite video and component video is used to carry video data but the way it carries signal is different from them. S VIDEO cables are being used extensively for many purposes. S VIDEO cables do not help in producing a picture of better quality but will surely help in transferring data between devices which are otherwise incompatible.
