Firewire Cable- Device to interchange data

A cable that is used to send or receive data from a digital device with high band width is known as a firewire cable. A firewire cable is faster than any usb cable. Though the functions performed by both the cables are very much similar, a firewire cable is preferred in place of a usb cable. It is the cable that facilitates easiest and quickest means to share data.
A firewire cable is especially used between audio and video equipments. The latest version of firewire cable has the speed of transferring data up to 800 Mbps. And the speed is expected to rise in the coming time. There are many companies that are working in this direction. An additional advantage of this cable is that it can connect up to 63 devices at one time without any distortions in the output. This is called the firewire bus. Most of the operating systems support this. It is very easy to use it as it is just to be plugged in and it is ready to be used. The best part of a firewire cable is that it is shock proof.
The devices that are attached to the computer or any other output device and have firewire cables do not require the computer to be switched off before plugging in or plugging out. Whatever device is attached, it is read by the device quickly and the communication starts. A firewire cable is very safe to be used by anyone.
