Description of a Digital Camera Lens
The digital camera lens is the most sensitive part of the digital camera. The photograph taken by a camera is fully dependent on the lens only. The lens of a camera captures the light from the subject and brings it to a focus on the film or detector. The design and manufacture of the lens is critical to the quality of the photograph being taken.
The process of adjusting this range is known as changing the camera’s focus. This is also an important action of the digital camera lens such that a clear view is obtained. The quality of the image taken is dependent on the quality of the lens that the camera has. Camera lenses are as sensitive as that of our eye lenses. The camera lenses have to be protected and for that purpose only a lens cover is provided along with the digital camera.
Whenever a digital camera falls down from hand, the first part which is getting damaged is the lens part. So a minor change in the lens of a digital camera may lead to any change in the photographic image. In accordance to the zooming capacity of the digital cameras the lens of the cameras varies. The cine cameras will be having very powerful lenses. A majority of cameras have a lens positioned in front of the camera’s opening to gather the incoming light and focus all or part of the image on the recording surface. Thus the digital camera lens is the important part of the digital cameras.
